Should you invest now?

Currently the stock market is unstable due to investors’ bad perception, the war in Ukraine and the highest inflation rate since 1982. Yet many investors are still wondering if now is a good time to purchase stocks.

Therefore it is time to clear up this dilemma and answer the following question: Is investing in stocks a good idea right now?

Bear Markets Are Opportunities

Have you ever heard the expression every crisis is also an opportunity? Bear Markets are opportunities and the fact is investors who are able to accumulate the most amount of money purchased the majority of their shares during bear markets. Unfortunately the so-called experts and the media portray every bear market as a catastrophe and encourage investors to invest in gold, bonds and diamonds.

Robert Kiyosaki’s best quote in my opinion is “Most people never get wealthy simply, because they are not trained to recognize opportunities right in front of them”.

Most investors are blind to the tremendous opportunities that are available right now with potentially the best bear market for a long time. Shares of highly successful companies with a historically good track record are available for pennies compared to their actual worth.

Unfortunately the narrative right now is to sell off all your stocks and invest into safer assets. A lot of risk is associated with the stock market currently and I would agree that there should be risk associated with the stock market currently. However in order to accumulate wealth you need to take risks. There is no reward without risk!

Why do Investors buy shares during Bullmarkets?

Over the last couple of months I have been trying to figure out an appropriate answer to this question. During Bull Markets investors make a grave mistake by acquiring most of their shares and paying over inflated prices due to an increased demand. Unfortunately this is generally considered the best time to invest and therefore I am trying to debunk that. This is the best time to sell stocks, because they are worth more than what you bought them for generally and you can sell them for a higher price than their actual value. Don’t be fooled by the people saying they cant see an end in sight when a Bull Market is occurring. Generally they are trying to drive up the price and dump their shares.

Stop asking Google

Why do you type this question into Google, before reading different articles, analysing share prices and listening to prominent investors such as Warren Buffet?

Google is a search engine and your question will have multiple answers from different sources. Many sources unfortunately are not trustworthy and cannot support their stances with evidence. You are also being influenced by too many opinions and thoughts at the same time.

This is a common mistake that an investor makes and it is called letting someone else make up your mind. This article should not be the only piece of information that leads to your decision. I have learned this the hard way when I have invested my money into stocks that were recommended by an article or when I believed that Bearmarkets were terrible.

Always make up your own mind when it comes to these questions, because if you base your choice of information and articles Google are displaying to you and it goes horribly for you, regret will set in.

I use Google everyday just like most of you, but I never make a decision based on information that I found on Google. I take it into account and combine it with information from different sources.

It will never be the Perfect time to Invest

Many new investors and experienced ones keep looking for the perfect time to invest. Unfortunately there is never going to be a perfect time. It will always be risky to invest, you will always be concerned about your money, waiting won’t change your mind. Perfection doesn’t exist especially in something as volatile as the stock market. One day everything could be going up and another everything will come crashing down. Often when you are looking for the perfect time you will miss out on great opportunities.

Be sure to know that the rich are taking advantage of this bear market. Don’t make the mistake of wasting this great opportunity.

Conclusion

Is investing in stocks a good idea right now? Absolutely you will never find a better time for at least another ten years at least. Don’t miss out on this giant opportunity; you will regret it later.
